Best of November, a round-up of November recipes and happenings at Simply Sissom.
Welcome to the BEST OF NOVEMBER POST where we officially say HELLO Christmas Season!!! (AKA.. hot chocolate, cozy fires, gingerbread EVERYTHING)! First lets recap all the delicious things that we made and the cool things that have been happening around Simply Sissom in the last month.
Let’s get started with what I made in the kitchen in November. SPOILER… the past month was all about The. Feast.
- 1-Bowl Corn Muffins// 2. Kentucky Derby Pie Cookies// 3. Pumpkin Pie Bars// 4. Chicken Fried Cauliflower “Rice”// 5. Whole-Grain Chicken Noodle Soup// 6. Asian Noodle Salad// 7. Apple Sausage Stuffing// 8. The Ultimate Whole-Food Cut Out Cookies// 9. Pumpkin Bread// 10. 10 Healthy Whole-Food POST Thanksgiving Recipes
- Simply Sissom got a mini make-over!! FINAAALLLYYY, a logo and colors! Thank you so much to everyone who gave input and suggestions on Facebook about the design! One thing this process taught me… I am NOT great with quick decisive decisions. With that said, I am SO pleased with the final results.
- I ate WAAAAAYYYYY too much! The holiday season is SUPER dangerous for a food blogger. I mean, if I make 6 versions of pecan pie slabs in pursuit of perfection, I have to try them all right??? With that said, I’ve been working really hard on a top secret project. More news to come soon! Hint… Real Food Reset, January 2017. Join me? More info to come REALLY REALLY soon.
I’m going to level with you, the month of December is going to have LOTS of baking and sweet treats. It’s the holidays after all! With that said.. I made a very intentional effort to go back and add in some quick whole-food recipes that are going to be perfect for this super busy time of year.
