Welcome to the BEST OF MAY where we officially say, HELLO Summer break (a.k.a. school's our for Summer!). First, let's recap all the delicious things that we made and the cool things that have been happening around Simply Sissom in the last month.
Let's get started with what I made in the kitchen in May. SPOILER.. it's all super simple, family friendly and weeknight worthy. As I ease into my second trimester, I'm feeling MUCH better, but with the kids home All. Day. Long. I have less time to be hanging out in the kitchen because, well... it's pool weather!!

I'm going to level with you.. pregnancy + Summer = NOT A MATCH!! Lately I'm obsessing on cold frozen treats (like the healthy fudge popsicles). Since the blog is a direct reflection of what I am making in my real-life-kitchen you can expect to see plenty of icy cool dessert recipes headed your way next month. After all.. it's Summer time!!!
