Buuut, before we completely shift gears to focusing on all things turkey, let's say a quick goodbye to October, starting with what we made in the kitchen this month. SPOILER.. if you don't like pumpkin spice, this isn't your month. My personal favorite this month were the Chunky Chocolate Pumpkin Muffins. If you've been following along with Simply Sissom for any amount of time you know that I DESPISE baking, but these.. well, they're simple enough for me to tackle and SO DELICIOUS that we've made them 4 times already!

October Happenings:
I'm not actually sure where October went... with the Kids on Fall Break for a week (and visiting Mimi), Joe and I got to head to Omaha for my cousin's wedding sans kiddos. We pumpkin patched, pumpkin carved, cooked All. The. Pumpkin. and by tonight will have trick or treated no less than 3 times! Safe to say that I'm ready to move on to Thanksgiving!
