Description

These no-bake treats are the perfect mix of chewy, gooey, and crunchy with a hint of vanilla. Customize them with your favorite sprinkles for a festive touch!


Ingredients

  • 1 (13 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 8 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sprinkles (optional)


Instructions

  1. Start by spraying a baking dish (8"x 8" recommended for thick bars, 9"x13" will work as well) with nonstick spray and lining it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, spray nonstick spray and add 8 cups of Rice Krispies cereal. Mix in sprinkles, if desired, and set the bowl aside.
  3. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a large pot over low heat. Once melted, add 1 (13 oz.) jar of marshmallow cream and stir until smooth. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the Rice Krispies in the prepared bowl and stir quickly to evenly coat the cereal. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and use a damp or buttered spatula to press it into an even layer.
  5. Place the pan in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to cool and set. Once firm, slice into squares and enjoy. Wrap any leftovers in plastic wrap and store them in an airtight container for up to three days.

Notes

Spraying your spoon and spatula with nonstick spray will make mixing and pressing the treats a breeze!
